REV3 Tri – Who’s Coming With Me?

I read about the Revolution 3 Triathlon when I was doing some blog browsing and was blown away by the sales page. As someone who saw the Ironman as the pinnacle of the Triathlon world, it hadn’t occured to me that there might be other options available to me. Since my goals for this year include a 70.3 Triathlon, I thought that this would be a perfect opportunity to get my feet wet.

I’ve earned a charity slot for the Rev3 and am looking to raise $1,000 for the V Foundation to fight cancer. My family has dealt with cancer countless times through the years, so this was a perfect opportunity for me to combine personal goals with professional goals.

I’ve also got an article coming out soon about my training in Afghanistan and the process of preparing for the Rev3, so keep an eye out for that on their homepage (I’ll link to it here as well).

In the meantime, if you plan on making it to CT on June 7th, 2009, then let me know so we can meet up and say hi! If you can’t make it, I’d love your help in raising money for the V Foundation. You can go to my site, or use the widget on the right of this post near the top of the page. Help me reach that $1,000!

I’m going to be offering “The Triathlon Man” T-Shirts soon, and I might even consider offering a free one to the person with the highest donation, so please donate what you can and share the link with your friends and family. Your support means a lot!

To the rest of you, I’ll see you soon!

I like your goals! Looking forward to seeing you accomplish all of them. I have a few in mind that have not written down on paper but nevertheless, they are personal goals. Looking forward to seeing you at the Rev3. I signed up a few weeks ago. Hopefully we’ll run into each other.
